Gbenga Fetuga – He is a chartered Accountant. He attended University of Lagos where he obtained. B.Sc. in Accounting. He also obtained Masters Degree in Business Administration from Imo University. He is also a Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.He started his working career with Emmanuel Adeyemo Ogunlowo & Co, a firm of Chartered Accountants in 1985, where he trained to become a professional Accountant.
He left in 1988 to join Afro Continental Nigeria Limited, a multinational company involved in trading and construction as an Accountant. He was also the branch Accountant of the company in Port Harcourt in Rivers State, Ekpoma in Edo Sate and Akure in Ondo State.
In 1992, he left to work for a financial group known as Africa Finance and Credit Limited.He left as the General Manager of the company in 2000 to join the office of the Accountant General of the Federation as a Chief Accountant.
He worked in various Ministries in the service of the Federal Government and rose to become a Federal Director in 2010. While working in the office of the Accountant General of the Federation, he rose to become a Deputy Director in 2004 and was then moved to Ministry of Power as the Deputy Director, Finance and Accounts.
In 2010, he was posted to Ministry of Defense as the Director, Finance and Account and was later redeployed back to ministry of Power in 2013. In January 2016, he was posted to Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment, where he retired as Director, Finance and Accounts. He has attended various courses and seminars both in Nigeria and overseas.
He is married with children.
